Artist Statement
The fleeting beauty that surrounds us inspires my paintings.
While I paint myriad subjects, nature’s complexity is a theme to which I return often. In particular, I am captivated by the ways in which light falls across my subjects, changing the mood and ambiance. I aspire to illuminate the beauty hidden in commonplace objects.
